Retiring in North Cyprus: Hype or Paradise?

Retiring in North Cyprus: Hype or Paradise?

Spring is here in North Cyprus, painting our world with beautiful colors and warm breezes. Even though the blazing summer sun hasn’t arrived yet, some of my friends are already dipping their toes in the clear waters of the Mediterranean. As someone who calls this lovely place home, I must say that each season here holds a special magic, But there’s something really magical about springtime.. When you wake up every morning, you feel more positive and you can’t help but smile. And you know what brings that feeling? It’s the light, I mean the sun. https://youtu.be/iO1Bd7l58QE?si=YbTOz8bvuMX6qqlk     North Cyprus is like a treasure chest of natural wonders that stays open all year long. From beautiful natural sites to historical ancient sites, this place is a real gem in the Mediterranean. From stunning natural spots to ancient historical sites, this place is like a treasure in the Mediterranean. It’s been home to Byzantines, Venetians, Egyptians, Romans, the British, and the Ottoman Empire. And now, it’s kind of connected to the EU, Turkey, and England. If you dig into the ground, you’ll uncover layers and layers of history buried right here. Its beauty captures the hearts of everyone who visits or lives here.   When spring arrives, North Cyprus bursts with life and energy. It’s the perfect time for leisurely walks along the coast in the morning or taking a refreshing swim as the sun sets in the evening.   Feeling inspired by the beauty around me, I decided to share the magic of North Cyprus with the world. So, I started a youtube channeltp promote this paradise and showcase alone my business of property listings. But now, North Cyprus doesn’t really need any more marketing. It’s like everyone in the world knows about it and they all want to come live here.   But, like anywhere else, North Cyprus isn’t without its challenges. Some folks grumble about potholed roads or littered landscapes, while others find fault with government rules and residency processes. These complaints are valid, and  iam %100 agree with all this complains.   It’s important to remember that North Cyprus isn’t some flawless paradise. It’s a real place with its ups and downs, just like anywhere else on Earth. By accepting this truth, newcomers can better appreciate the true beauty of our region without getting lost in unrealistic expectations. and not to forget that there’s always room for improvement in our little corner of paradise.     In conclusion, spring in North Cyprus is a magical time that gives us a peek into the natural wonders and rich culture of this Mediterranean haven. Despite the challenges we face, the beauty and warmth of our home shine through. By embracing the reality of North Cyprus, both residents and visitors can fully immerse themselves in all the enchantment this place has to offer.       At the end of the day, North Cyprus is a young country, just like me – I’m 46 years old. When we look at North Cyprus, it’s important to understand that we don’t have endless money like some other European countries where they get finance by EU funds. Those countries often get a lot of their money from taxpayers in places like Germany and France. Sometimes, they even get money from organizations like the IMF. But here’s the thing: sometimes they print more money without having anything real to back it up. It’s like making promises and selling bonds, but there’s nothing solid behind it.   They try to keep their economy going by taking resources from other countries, like oil and gold. But they call this democracy. Our government is also run by elected parliaments, just like theirs. But let’s be real, sometimes our government isn’t great, just like in many other countries. It can be frustrating when the people in charge don’t seem to be looking out for everyone’s best interests but only they own pockets.   Let’s talk about something really important: searching for paradise. Sometimes, we spend a lot of time wishing for a perfect life or place, but it feels like it’s always just out of reach. But what if we changed our focus? Instead of always wanting more, we could start by looking at ourselves. By being positive and seeing the good things around us, we can make our own lives better. It’s about being thankful, being kind to others, and finding happiness in small moments. When we work on ourselves and care about others, we not only make our lives better but also make the world a better place. So let’s stop dreaming about far-off perfection and start making our own little paradise right here, right now.
